This bench is better than most commercial benches, let alone home gym setups. It is heavy, at 51kg, but that is simply a testament to how solidly built this thing is. Right down to the metal handle (with aggressive knurling I might add), and quality wheels, which make moving this bench around very manageable. There is some movement in the bottom pad/seat, which is due to the gapless/adjustable nature and this is hopefully something that can be fixed in future iterations of this bench. However the upside of this is that the base is adjustable meaning you can position it exactly where you need it at any angle of the backrest. I should also add that this movement is only slightly noticeable "under load" when the bench is fully upright, say for a shoulder press. But when benching flat or at any incline it's not noticeable at all. And I don't think this feature takes away from the bench anywhere near as much as it adds. Finally, the pads are thick, solid feeling, wide, very grippy and in the flat, gapless setup make it ideal for replicating a competition bench, whilst still being adjustable. This is a very good bench!
