Repetitive heavy lifting and sudden trauma can injure tendons and lead to inflammation, pain, and difficulty using the joint. This is called tendinopathy.
One method to reduce soreness and inflammation is by applying continuous pressure to the affected area prior, during and after lifting.

Measure the circumference of the area you intend to wear your compression band (typically around the elbow). If you sit between sizes, go the size down.
