The shorts are made with stretchy fabric in between legs so you are never constricted during your squat. KWD shorts have a shorter inseam and are designed to show off your quads (KWaDs).

These are a great pair of shorts. I'm 170cm 75kg and 26" quads and I bought a Medium ... no problem at all squatting ATG in these plus they're a good length and great fit to show off the quads.
